What is the reason for the high discharge temperature of screw air compressor?
1. Poor environmental ventilation and heat dissipation.
2. The screw air compressor fan blade is cracked or loose. When the fan blades crack, the air compressor will automatically shut down due to excessive temperature after working for about 5 minutes, and the fan blades should be replaced or adjusted.
3. The screw air compressor oil filter is too dirty. When it is too dirty, the oil cannot enter the air compressor according to the normal flow rate due to resistance, and the air compressor will heat up quickly due to lack of cooling lubricating oil.
4. The cooling oil level is too low. When checking the cold machine, if the oil level is lower than the lower end of the inspection tube, make up for it immediately. During work, the center position lower than the oil mark should be compensated.
5. The cooling oil number is low or the oil quality is poor. Screw air compressors should use air compressor oil recommended by the manufacturer. When using low-grade or inferior oil, the viscosity and specific heat will not meet the standards, causing the temperature to be too high.
6. The radiator is blocked. When there is a lot of dust in the environment around the screw air compressor, a layer of dust or sludge will adhere to the surface of the radiator after long-term operation. The internal copper tubes are also easily blocked due to accumulation of grease, thus affecting the heat dissipation effect.
7. The oil cut-off valve of the screw air compressor failed. When the oil cut-off valve cannot be opened, due to the lack of oil lubrication and cooling, the temperature of the screw air compressor rises rapidly after it is started, and it will automatically shut down in a few seconds.
8. The oil and gas separator filter element is too dirty. When the filter element is too dirty, the oil will affect circulation due to excessive resistance. Should be sorted or replaced immediately.
